Like father like son: Brooklyn Beckham copies David's style on the red carpet

Just like his footballer father, Brooklyn Beckham is shaping up to be a very handsome young man.

And, also like his father, he is taking on some obscure style habits while he's at it.

The 12-year-old joined his Dad on the red carpet at the Do Something Awards yesterday - sporting a familiar look.

Copycat: Brooklyn takes style tips from Dad and only tucks in half of his shirt

Brooklyn tucked in one side of his white shirt and left the other half loose. He teamed it with dark jeans, trainers and a black-and-white check belt.

It's clear where Brooklyn gets his inspiration from, as the unusual look has been favoured by his 36-year-old father.

It's not the only bizarre fashion statement that Becks has made over the years, despite being married to design powerhouse Victoria.

Suave: David has put his fashion mishaps, such as the half-untucked shirt behind him, put has passed them on to his son

In fact the pair have be known to model matching outfits.

David's most infamous mishap was donning a sarong that unfortunately co-ordinated all too well with his wife's dress.

However other than rubbing off on his eldest son, David's weird wardrobe days seem to be behind him.

Remember this look? David hit headlines for wearing a sarong to an awards ceremony with wife Victoria in 1998

He kept things simple and stylish as he posed with Brooklyn yesterday, wearing a smart black suit.

The sports star won the Do Something Athlete award at the ceremony, which was presented to him by his best friend Gordon Ramsay.

The Ramsays are currently staying with the Beckhams while on holiday in Los Angeles.
